OUR STORY

YOUTH MUSICAL EDUCATION SPECIALISTS

Stars Musical Theatre Company was built from a lifelong immersion in performance, production and education. Founded by Natalie Belleli in 1986, the company grew from first-hand experience of how young performers learn best. Expert instruction, thoughtful guidance and real-world context. Education comes first. Training is never limited to rehearsing a cast; students learn vocal, acting and movement technique that directly applies to the affiliated production each year.

Our programs are taught by industry-leading performers and coaches for deep skill development and real life insight. All training takes place in Stars’ custom-built studio in Mascot in a safe and nurturing envronment. Challenging, yes. Brutal, no. We pride ourselves on our positive culture and encouraging community. All final productions are staged in professional theatre venues, such as NIDA.

Claim to fame

We choose a musical production - and tie our educational curriculum to it. That's how we develop the musical theatre talent of tomorrow. A method we've employed since 2008.

MEET THE FOUNDER

NATALIE BELLELI

Natalie’s career in the arts began at age three and grew into a lifelong commitment to musical theatre. Trained at Sydney's renowned Phillip Street Theatre during its golden era, she worked on stage, screen and behind the scenes before founding her first business, Stars Talent Schools in 1986 - a business that still teaches acting, dancing and singing to kids today. She launched Stars Musical Theatre Co in 2008 anchoring education to an annual full scale musical production.

For 40 years, Natalie has mentored young performers, producing 15 full-scale musicals and championing triple-threat training. Her passion lies in creating professional-grade productions and giving young talent the chance to shine.
